Terry obtained his original salesman’s Kansas real estate license in 1976 and subsequently his broker’s license in Kansas, Missouri and Illinois. Terry grew up in Chicago and is the oldest of ten children. He is a graduate of Notre Dame High school for Boys in Niles, Illinois and attended Amundsen-Mayfair Junior College in Chicago and Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois. Terry made his living as a tennis teaching professional in Florida before moving to Kansas City to manage and teach at an indoor tennis club in a suburb of Kansas City. He is an daily jogger and enjoys tennis and staying fit. He is an admitted sports nut.
Terry is a licensed real estate broker in the states of Kansas, Missouri and Illinois. Terry is a member of RE/MAX International’s Hall of Fame and is a certified mentor. Terry is a website ‘drip plan’ creator and educator.
Terry was an early adopter of the Internet. He taught contact management and internet technology classes at local, regional and RE/MAX conventions and was Charter Chapter Chairman of the Kansas City chapter of the Real Estate Cyberspace Society in Boston, MA. Terry has owned his Internet domain since 1995 and appeared on the RE/MAX Satellite Network in a program entitled “How to Utilize the Internet in Real Estate” in March of 1996. Terry was also the author of Real Estate Matters which appeared in the Johnson County Sun newspapers for nearly a decade.

SRES – Seniors Real Estate Specialists® are REALTORS® qualified to address the needs of home buyers and sellers age 50+. The SRES® Council awards the SRES® Designation to those members who have successfully completed its education program.
ABR – The Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR®) designation is the benchmark of excellence in buyer representation. This coveted designation is awarded to real estate practitioners by the Real Estate BUYER’S AGENT Council (REBAC) of the National Association of REALTORS® who meet the specified educational and practical experience criteria.
RECS – the RECS professional designation is awarded to real estate professionals who have demonstrated their ability to utilize the Internet and other “cyberspace” tools to assist their clients in the sale, purchase, lease or management of real property.
GRI – Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) is the designation awarded by state associations to members of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® who successfully complete a predetermined course of study. Members subscribe to the Code of Ethics of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®.
CDPE – the Certified Distressed Property Expert designation requires the designee to take an extensive class room course and pass a rigorous exam to demonstrate their ability to assist distressed homeowners in finding the best solution to their problem. Designees knowledge includes a wide range of solutions.
